Preacher Cast

Episode 1: “Pilot” Review

The big day has FINALLY come! Preacher premiered on Sunday, May 22nd to rave reviews and an audience that’s hungry for more. What followed was a look at the internal crisis of faith and struggle between good and evil that plagues the titular character, Jesse Custer. Fan-favorites Tulip O’Hare and Cassidy the Vampire, aren’t far behind, giving viewers a pair of show-stopping introductions and plenty of laugh-out-loud violence.

Join Lee, Lacey & Caleb as they discuss their favorite moments from the premiere, share their grievances about what they might have done differently, and compare AMC’s Preacher with Garth Ennis’ cult-classic comic books.

I’m blown away with your analysis of this show. I, obviously, missed so many of the details. Thank you for pointing them out. I’m going to have to go back and watch the last episode before the next one comes on tomorrow night. The whole show made no sense to me when I was watching it. I kept texting my friend saying, “I’m confused”. I have a much better insight into the plot and characters. I’m hooked now! Good job!!
